General site information!

Name: Lilac. The name was totally random. It's just my favorite color. Whether the site name'll change if my favorite color changes I have no idea.
Founded: Some time in November of 2005. Don't ask me to remember dates.
Reason: I like making websites. I like showing off my XHTML/CSS skills. And hey, we finally got webspace courtesy Fushi!
Created with: Notepad, SmartFTP, Photoshop 7, and a lot of manual labor. xD Lilac was originally hosted on Atspace, which is a lovely free host, but as of May 16, '06 we got hosted at Pookah by Fushi.
Current layout: Harry Chapin! If you've heard of him I love you. <3333~ He was a fantastic sing/songwriter whose songs told stories, usually sad ones. The lyrics included here are from his song "Empty." Additionally, this has the cleanest coding of any of the layouts thus far. =D
Past layouts: I assume some people are nerds like me and like to look at old website layouts.


LAYOUT #001 - sigh.
This black and white layout featured my fursona Sora, looking ... emo. It actually looked a lot like the site does in its second layout. xD


LAYOUT #002 - PSYCHOBABBLE+KITTY
This is an eye-shockingly yellow layout. xD I usually hate yellow, but this was pretty. The picture I used for this layout got all artifacty because I accidentally saved it as a JPEG twice... ew. In function it was nearly identical to "Sigh."


LAYOUT #003 - GLASS TO BE SHATTERED
I did like this one <3 Playing with filters in Photoshop. This had much cleaner coding.
