Purrsians

Recently I browsed through my crew pages and it occurred to me that there are a lot of petz breeds that I don't own yet! Persians is just one of them. I decided to start a breeding project.





Project info

Because of their cute and easily satisfied character, I decided to name the project "Purrsians". I started breeding with two random Persians from the adoption center. In this project I will be very selective: my goal is to breed different coat colors with matching eyelid colors and my favorite eye colors (which are blue/slothy, green and pink). This project will be entirely hexfree, but NOT inbred free. Once I get to the later generations, I will start putting up some adoptions on the adoption page.





First generation


Meet Misses (white) and Homebody (blue). My very first pair of Persians. At first, these two really didn't like each other. But after a while (and what seemed like 100 times breeding later, lol) they became quite inseparable. Each time Misses leaves the room to be pregnant for a few seconds, Homebody acts very sad - almost pathetic. I just can't resist his cute and sad little face when he does that, the first time he did it, it made my heart melt for the breed.





Favorite outcomes

Mabelle Only 2nd generation and already my favorite eye color: slothy. Mabelle made me produce a very funny sound when she popped up: pleasant surprise! Such a gorgeous kitten and of course the sweetest Purrsian personality.

Hadrian Another 2nd generation kitten, this time with green eyes. I absolutely adore Hadrian's clumsiness, just look at his picture!

Madara Madara is one of my favorites because of her gray eyelids that match her blue coat perfectly. She is 3rd generation and her green eyes are slightly different from Hadrian's above.

Mahtab Finally, self eyelids with a different eyecolor. Not my favorite, dusk, but it looks nice and natural with her gray coat.

HaMa5 I didn't name this little guy yet, having blue parents I'm probably not going to breed him in the next generations. But he's a great example of the Persian I'm looking for, except that I want one with all cream lineage and selfy eyelids!

Color variations so far


Haha, I love this funny picture! These are all the coat colors I have bred so far - forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think these are all the possible colors already!


And these are all the eye colors I have bred so far. The black muzzles and white eyelids aren't for each eye color, I edited this picture (doh).

My purrfect Purrsian would be something like a cream coat color (3) with light green eyes (5) and cream eyelids! Not sure if that last thing is possible, but I love the challenge.
